Japanese labels NEEDLES and ASICS join forces to deliver their inaugural footwear project – this time reinterpreting the EX89. The collaborative shoe, known as the EX89, draws inspiration from a basketball shoe dating back to 1989. NEEDLES’ distinctive purple hue takes centre stage in this release, with two colourways on offer. In both versions, ASICS branding is prominently displayed on the heel, embellished with purple embroidery. Just below the ASICS logo, you’ll find NEEDLES’ iconic papillon motif.
